Building the skills for the tourism of tomorrow

Empowering Europe's Tourism Workforce for a Digital and Sustainable Future

About the Project

FuTourAlliance is the latest step in a mature
European ecosystem for tourism skills development.

As the third project funded under the EU Blueprint for
Sectoral Cooperation on Tourism Skills, it builds on the
achievements of Next Tourism Generation (NTG - link to
the subpage) and PANTOUR ( link to the subpage),
capitalising on the knowledge, tools and strategies
developed since 2018.

The project is further supported by the governance
framework established through PacTS4ALL, the initiative
underpinning the Large-Scale Skills Partnership for
Tourism within the Pact for Skills.

Together, these initiatives share a common vision and a
long-term commitment to strengthening the resilience
and competitiveness of the European tourism
ecosystem.

By combining the technical legacy of previous Blueprint
projects with a strong network of stakeholders and social
partners, FuTourAlliance takes tourism skills
development into a new era, addressing the challenges
of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and
sustainability in line with the ambitions of Destination
Europe 2030.
